A thread to hold images of Meripilus in situ, associating with its wide variety of host range.

The second post will become an edited list, added to as and when new hosts are either documented by myself or offered up by members for use here as an ongoing resource.

Currently going through the British Mycological database of Meripilus records & have found hawthorn, elm, robinia, elder, poplar, cherry, lime & sweet chestnut also listed as hosts.

British Fungi - record details

I don't recall having seen any of the above associations, so If anyone has images of these & is happy to have them hosted here please feel free to post them & I'll add them to the primary list at the top of the thread.

Thanks
