Dont know if i spelt it right!!!

My mate has cut some large conifers down from around his property the type that everybody seems to have around their garden, are they called leylandii, and can i burn them in my log burner? :confused1:

you can burn anything in a log burner...they will spit, and ideally need drying out really well as they are full of resin. cut and split them now and burn them next year.

 

 

...Put it on the lit kindling and it will build the fire ready for the good stuff. 'Middling wood' I call it. If you use it as the main burn you'll be out of your chair every 10 minutes.
