Well you would think it would mate but its far from reality I'm afraid....

 

 

When I read things like this it tells me the level and lack of experience some people do have, I know some of them can not be helped some of them are just freak accidents, but the majority are just plain and simple human ignorance towards there selfs and most importantly others....

And YES, trees ARE heavy!!! Dont lift them in one piece!!!!

Can't imagine that half the crane drivers also underestimate the weight of timber, surely they must be aware of the weights involved? Do things like this happen in the building trade?

well you would of thought they would have measured the weight of logs first !?!

The second article says its a 56,000 ton crane so maybe they thought it should lift it:confused1:
