Just found out two local lads were killed in a car accident involving one car and a large Oak tree. There are rumours flying around that the car was stolen and they were both drunk. A friend of mine has told me they were travelling southbound but hit the oak tree on the northbound carriageway. The details of the lads havent been released yet but speed looks to have been a factor.

If they were not drunk and it was an accident its very sad and a nasty way to die and the families have my sympathy even if some excessive speed was involved . If they were drunk the roads are now that bit safer for our families lucky they did not involve anyone else I feel sorry for the emergency services who had to deeal with that.

always sad news but if they were drunk.... if the car was stolen.... :confused1:

Dont know if you remember a year or two ago, thieves got hit by a train while escaping down a main railway line on a quad loaded with goods..........

Good enough for the scum, the train driver should have a medal :thumbup1:
