Gave my 181 a mild going over but still havent cleaned the carb out as it is lacking still - the inlet port is a real strange shape so not much there, from memory the exhaust port can be widened, the piston has open ported sides so can be worked onas can the upper and lower transfers.

The muffler can have another port put in it.

Thas about it - can I do it.......give me a bell in a few weeks as I am pretty manic at the moment.

I noticed that myself .Almost seems counter intuative to normal design .I've got a 281 . Bone stock but it does pretty good the way it is.

If I recall correctly they use a double transfer tunnel which is actually a better design than Stihl .
