Happy days! Buy one Al...you won,t regret it....Silky smooth!

You misread my post mate. I bought one early last year and really rate it highly. The Pulleysaver is 1st class!

I used it today doing a reduction on a Yew tree with my LJ. I still use DRT on very small trees as setting up the gear is faster.

Prussick to mechanical prussick......and then to Wrench. it is logical progression:biggrin:

Yeah I guess so. I climbed on a Prussik first, then a LJ for eight years.

Since getting my RW in February I still really miss the self tailing that the LJ (& SJ) is so good at, although not enough to stop SRTing.

+1 on the pulley saver! Why have less friction from the roka when you can have no friction? Also you can't choke the roka on a stem, you can only have it round a fork which is a bit limiting.

No offence but I don't get why people ask what something is like AFTER they buy it!

Its a step up from a bog standard cambium saver at least :)

Impulse buyer .. I'll run it by you first Alex in future .:001_tongue:

The pulleysaver isn't all its cracked up to be, i had one used it a couple of times and sold it. The little retrieval clip rode up into the pulley one to many times. I reckon the ART rope guide is a much better tool and when used with a double snapper to retrieve it, just amazing. Or like its been said SRT all the way ;D

TBH i do like the look of the rope guide over the pulley saver . Looks stronger engineered . Cant get my head round a little ally pulley coming crashing down out of a canopy and remaining sound , hence why i thought the roka might be better despite the obvious friction loss . Its getting sent back anyway my order has been totally mucked up :001_smile:
