Can anyone recommend me a plant hire company or contracting company in Grimsby need a 9-15 tonnes machine for 2 weeks.

If you haven't sorted anyone David, try these. They are on a big road job at the moment north of the river but have a lot of machines. My bro knows the owner well and uses them regularly so if you want I can PM you personal details;

Pete, if the guy at Whitby won't travel to where you want, let me know as there's a guy at York we've used a couple of times for wood related stuff and he would probably come as far as you.

PS, I doubt many will want to travel to Grimsby at the moment with the roadworks north of the bridge, we're starting a big job in Brigg tomorrow and not looking forward to tackling that lot in the morning!

Just got one from Hewden, they always have one in and can always deliver the next day. £380 a week for 13 tonne machine. I rang every company in the thread but no one could mobilise quick enough or were too expensive. Shame as I prefer to use small companies.

Nice one David, good you got sorted. Was only thinking of you as we are working that side of the river at the moment.
