Hi Guys

Just been asked by a guy in the village if i could do some work in his small ( 4/5 acre) oak woodland. Theres a bit to do, fallen trees to log, take out some trees, clear rhododendron, a bit of aerial work by the road.

Enough to fill a couple saturdays a month. We agreed on doing it on an hourly rate. like as and when i do it. But how much to charge per hour?

Fuel, equipment, labour etc obviously all comes into it. I was thinking £13-15

Any advice from you more experienced bays?:001_smile:

When it says Aerial work by the road can you seriously work for £13.00 hr? :confused1:

From the way it was worded, the bit of aerial work by the road sounded like it made up a small percentage of the total work.

If he's got enough overheads to need £25/£30 per hour day in day out then he's not going to be thinking about doing a bit of man and saw work is he? :001_smile:
