Tanalised stickers

I have found a supply of used softwood stickers. They have been tanalised as used for exterior timbers. Does anyone use them regularly? Is there much chance of these staining planks (ultimately to be used for flooring when moulded)?????Cheers

It would drive me nuts too! I assume you have a pallet load at a time?? What sort of quantity are Helmdon happy to send on a pallet? Tom

I'm not precisely sure as I bought it as part of a wagon load last time. I am however in the process of getting a couple of orders together up here for about 150 cubic foot in total (he charges about £4 a cubic foot for the poplar off the saw). A double pallet would be about £105 delivery cost and you'd get about 100 cubic foot (£400) on it.

If you want stickers in the near future, perhaps Steve can do a day of sticker cutting for a few different folk, you and I included.

Do they have to be wood?

Have wondered about using blue water pipe, anyone tried this, any thoughts?

P.S.

Used a couple of bits of tanalised recently to support a piece of sycamore for a couple of days and had to sand out the green stains.

Hmmm this is what i am afraid of. The planks will be planed down into boards so a bit of green is ok on the surface but if it penetrates deeper i am in trouble....

Might have to use these stickers for timber that ultimately will be painted/covered.
