3.5m split tail with ISC grab and Mongoose on eye end. Runs easy and big Mongoose is simple to work with cold fingers. Remember your stopper knot!

 

That reads to me as an adjustable strop not a flipline

i use a positioner on mine most of the others have rope grabs of various makes and sizes big is better on grabs

 

Bob, is that the ART Positioner on a wire flip line? Does it work ok and I presume you had to fit the clutch after inserting the line?

steve in work showed me his strop settup and now i use it on a flipline: a fllipline with an extremely short blakes with a pulley on the crab works fine 4 one handed adjustment. or a prussik so you can use it any way!

yes I used to use a grab but the positioner is better the main benefit is you can let a bit out whist still keeping your weight on it

i got one for my work kit and after 6 months i bought one for my personal kit
