Ah Mr Humphries!..i was wondering when you would be along. I knew you would like them. There is something very special about those images. (Are they Edible? they look delicious:001_rolleyes:) or would they be my last ever meal:lol:

 

 

Been busy watching me son score a hatrick in the first round of the cup this morning in the foggy depths of the fens :scared::biggrin:

 

No idea on the edibility of this fung, not my bag really.

No resources here to be able to check either.

 

If not 100% certain on an I'd then avoiding eating would be a prudent position :thumbup1:

 

Wouldn't want to end up like poor old Claudius now would we :biggrin:

Lots of choice out there.

 

The book that I generally have at hand is the Collins complete guide to british mushrooms and toadstalls. Pretty cheep nowadays at amazon.

Then of course the arbtalk fungi I'd App is worth having at hand also.

I have desired that poplar pholiota for years!

 

We seem to have it every where at the moment, just the way of the world I guess
