Salisburys are and have been standard since the series 3s on LWB vehicles up until a point on Td5s ! they are much more sturdy but they will fail too ! trust me they like to chew half shafts and drive flanges

used to have a dodge ram with 5.9 cummins... 2wd auto.. in the wet you'd sit in traffic with foot on brake and in drive and the back wheels would spin...
