Our £10.000 liability now costs us £1,500 / year . Any one get it cheaper ?

I'm sure everyones premium will be different as there are lots of factors, so if someone says theirs is only £400 that really means nothing to you. Best thing you can do is shop around.

 

For the record though, for £10,000 i'd expect to pay about £20 a year tops. for £10,000,000 though your figure would sound more realistic

...some insurance providers will offer upto 15% discount on premiums to ARB Approved Contractors, hence in your case that could save you £225 per year.
