How are the logging tapes holding up to the wet muddy conditions. Mine normally lasts about an hour in the mud before it stops working, and i have to revert back to the measuring stick.

 

Yeah not bad, all 3 still working well one lost its end pin but other than that doing well.

So today we went in for 6hrs to extract Block 1 to riverside for the barge to collect.

 

Due to last nights full moon the river level was higher than the bank in a lot of places so myself and sam got soaked in frozen water very quickly. Jenny operated the winch from the dry :thumbup1:. Skidder cone was a bit fiddly BUT was a real god send we manged to mainly get drags of 4 which i was happy with and the drag line setup worked a treat.
