Black Pop take down.

Three black poplars roots causing problems.

these appeared overnight prior to work.

they appear to be on the root system of the largest Pop.

any ideas.

Striations not stations. Bloody predictive text :banghead: no option to edit with tapatalk anymore either for some reason. How's grandfatherhood treating you, all good I hope?

The obvious choice would be Copious sp on dead roots. But they don't look quite right?

 

Sorry, Coprinus, although they do also appear copious!

 

Not a positive ID, caps don't look translucent enough. No stations on the edges...

 

 

 

Although they can be mistaken for Coprinus, I think these are more likely to be a Psathyrella sp

 

Perhaps P. multipedata

 

Dog tag, if you try and get a shot of the gills when submitting a species for identification that would be very useful :thumbup1:

Reckon the Fun guys (Tony Croft and Mr Humphries) will be asleep at this time...Curious.
