Aw, i loved hide and seek when i was a wee one I was carving sadness, loneliness, abandonment... seems i managed to capture a bit of it at least. Maybe a cathartic piece for me, maybe not

The title is Forsaken Angel. Inspired from the poem of William Blake (The Angel) and a personal story from my life. I cant say as i enjoyed carving this one, put a whole lot of emotion into it and feel a bit like i drained too much into it. Its not quite right, the form isn't quite balanced but for a 7-month carver i am not too disappointed with it. Need to decide what i am going to do with it now. Also need some new inspiration. I have lost my way now and need to see if i can find some fresh enthusiasm. thank you for the kind comments
