The gate looks good . But the work site , were are the work signs hi viz jackets and correct ppe . Sorry I looked at the whole picture .

 

put your money were your mouth is and show us your wears!

the job is quality workmanship from milling to erecting the gate and fence for a local church stop picking for a fight and apreciate fellow arbtalkers skills

So if your joiner used power tools without the correct ppe that would be ok ?

This is the designated wheel chair access for the church as the main front gate has lots of steps upto it. Its a bit tight but the wheelchairs do fit through no problem and probably have done for 100's of years! :001_smile:

I see how the wheelchair access works now, there was me thinking your landscape guys had come up with some clever 2 way gate idea that swung inwards as well. :thumbup:

Beautifully constructed and I like the design :biggrin:

 

Only thing I might have done different is run it through a planer to address the sawing marks. Oak is a swine though for almost immediate discolouration upon contact with ferous metal.
