My little oaks rashered off !

About 2 or 3 years ago I planted 2 small oak pixies near my log pile . They were about 2ft tall . Grew them in pots initially. They were about 2 meters back from the edge of an old railway line that has been made into a cycle track ( from west Dean to Chichester ) . They were in full leaf and some knob with a tractor mounted flail rashered them off to the ground . I despair .

Hopefully they will grow back Oak are very resilient. If it was me I would hammer 3 scaffold poles around each tree. Knobhead may then think twice before attacking with his flail.
