No idea bro, was thinking I could maybe do something but It obviously didn't work. Like i said though, it's unedited and **** happens... I'd never done that route before on srt so mistakes happen...

Yeah it is bro, still unsure if I like it or not. Runs through pantin really nice, feeds down into hitch nicely but justa feels very weird. It's crazy light so good for when you've gotta move it a lot ( like the vid) but crap for lowering it to the ground. Yep, it's a strange rope indeed.

With the helical hitch heard that the chord has to meet stronger breaking strength due to it being used single legged, on a double line the would only be be half your weight, do you think its an issue with srt as all your weight is on the hitch?

I picked up some kernmaster which is nice and supple but a little bouncy

It's a good point. BUT hitch cord slides and never reaches a breaking point. If the cordage slips at 4-5kN and continues to slip, does it matter if it's break strain is 16kN?? It's a really good point and I think highlights an area that is very grey. I think it's why a cinch has no breaking point, same as a unicender etc. but yeah the hitch does see more load than in drt

BUT I find the rw takes a phenomenal amount of loading away from the hitch, well I never burn hitchs out on srt anyway.

Just thought i would mention it, if that much force is on your hitch something must be going seriously wrong, i think it's more of an issue when using fisherman's single legged on single line.
