Does the grinder have to be tracked as we do a 45hp 4WD machine. We also have a Bandit 2900T which is 85-115hp instead of 66hp. No used currently but Bandit have an ex show machine with full warranty at a much reduced price.

The 7015 is a good machine, i too have derailed a couple but its just due to poorly tentioned tracks. Always had stacks of power and fantastic on steep inclines. Get one with remote control if your going to buy one!

We had one out on hire a few months ago and found it to be very good.

 

Was the older, air cooeld one but was radio control.

 

Had a wide range of stumps from 3 foot diameter willow half buried in bit of a bank, to a long row of small leylandii and nowt seemed to slow it down.

 

I don't know much about big grinders but the others do and they were thoroughly impressed.

 

We were working a fairly long site, with some crappy ground to cover and never slipped a track so maybe the one you use is just poorly set up?

 

All being well it's coming out again shortly.
