You could always get the attachment that i have that you fit in place of the chain vice on your chain saw grinder then its very easy to use and very sharp every time

I got the hedge trimmer blade vice from Oregon i don't remember the part no but i think it cost about £30.00

The worst thing is when one tooth breaks off. Completely messes up the cut to the point of making the cutter useless.

 

Im going to weld a replacement tooth on my back up hedge cutter head, Ill let you know how it goes but i dont expect it to be to difficult

I'd be interested to hear. I've broken about half a dozen over the years.

I have one of those in a box somewhere. I have never used it.

Don't you have to take the blades off the machine to sharpen them with this?

small disc grinder works for e too, its quick but does require a gentle approach too much pressure and the teeth are ruined.

Well all told I'm going to stick with my new system, it's gentle accurate and efficient.
