Im looking to cut some logs that have been split and dried. Im in a residential area so I need to keep the noise down, has anyone tried a woodster SW41? Or should I go for an electric chainsaw on a log horse. I have around 4 cube to sort. Should I just buy one and report back for all the arbtalkers?

The logs are around 19 inches long and I want to get them down to around 6"ish

Any other ideas?

Very frustrating machine; doesn't cut right through the log - always leaves a 1/2" bit to snap off or not snap etc!

well that's a pain, how quiet are electric chainsaws?

Are there better "cheap" log saws?

Or should I look at a chop saw or something with a circular blade so to not lose too much in the kerf
