Afternoon working on a job doing posts with 3 strans of straining wire and straing post all posts 3-4" it's through a woodland all posts bonked in by hand , with 2 blokes on site 8 hour day may question how far should we be doing a day ?

If you are having to clear the line first, hand dig the post holes and set them properly, then i recon to do about 100meters a day by hand.

Also very dependent on the number of strainers and turners you are having to put in.

 

Putting a load of them on by hand will cut your meterage down somewhat!!

 

90m by hand through a crappy site sounds good to me
