Yesterday brought me to my favourite grove of Durham's Yews.Hidden away from view but a place I visited often as a kid.Toby is sitting by the entrance to the secret tunnel.

One last look around at this magical place before a quiet run back home where I do my daily routine of video conferencing with family, bit of weights some thinking, planning and watching the Spring happing from my window.I am so lucky to live in such a place packed full of trees and Ancient buildings. And all to myself for an hour.......??

Toby gets three walks a day and has the run of a very large garden Mick.I choose to stay isolated for the time being.I have plenty to do.Once this is over I will be going on a journey of a lifetime???

That looks like an old " ice box " . There is one on West Dean estate cut into a North facing hill side . Its were they used to keep the meat for the estate years ago before  the advent of freezers .

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
