Wow!

 

I really wanted a grcs and nearly went down the route of making one to save pennies.

But then Reg decided to sell his Hobbs as he was going down his different routes. And he did sing its praises and I can totally agree. We've knocked some big lumps on it but I never thought there would be that much difference.

 

How about Stein double bollard v's Hobbs next??

A couple of non constants to the experiment being that the stein isn't a ratchet system and should have more strength. However, smaller bollard x 2.

 

I'm happy with the Hobbs. Only the other day my brother in law was looking at some of our tackle and asking 'whats that for' (stein 2000 i think) but I joking said the Hobbs would take the wife's car (mini one) quite easily.

 

Never done a dead drop like that though!!!
