Sneaky Sneaky Yahoo olympic medal tally

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but at the top of yahoos page they show a medal tally based on total amount of medals won. It was USA, China, England, with Russian in 4th place. Anyway Russia overtook us which then bumped them into 3rd place. the following day England was back in 3rd place......but wait, looked like yahoo had done something a little sneaky so I clicked through to the full medal tables and sure enough they changed the way they were ranking them...rather than ranking them by total medals they had changed it to ranking them by golds which subsequently bumped England to 3rd, South Korea to 4th, and put Russia back in 5th place.

I'm guessing there were complaints about this as they now reverted it back to the original method

USA 0.0000003 medals per member of population

China 0.00000006 medals per member of population

UK 0.00000085 medals per member of population

Our medal count, per member of population, is 2.8 times higher than that of the US and 14.2 times higher than that of the US. So far in the Olympics we have been 2.8 times MORE SUCCESFUL than the US and 14.2 times MORE SUCCESSFUL than China!
