i have a restricted o license... no hassle so far in a year.. been stopped twice by vosa and didnt ask what i was doing with load on back... have checks every 8 weeks but could be as long as 12 depending what mileage you do... what does annoy me is having a trailer checked every 8 weeks when its not moved an inch from last time it was checked.... not so much the cost but the hassle.... have 3 trailers now

+ unit so its at least a day or more to run them back and forth...

There are plenty of mobile mechanics who will do the checks at your place or you can do them yourself.

to be honest theres always some little job needs doing on unit or timber trailer so kills 2 birds with one stone.. he'll do bulker while i wait which is the one that never gets used then i go back and hook timber trailer on and leave it with him rest day with unit... but got another 45ft flat mega trailer now so gonna be difficult doing them all in day...
