im trying to scource some hard wood in the round for delivery to my yard and am getting quite a bit of difference in quoted prices per ton. what is a ton of hard wood going for these days and should the price include delivery? i know there will be some differences in price just after some sort of benchmark. many thanks.

The price will vary depending on the species diameter and quality.

Whether it includes delivery or not depends on whether you need it delivered or not.

The cost of the haulage will vary depending on the distance, so cheap timber a long way away will probably cost more than more expensive stuff closer to you.
