Cable ties and gaffer tape - sorted

Sorry, no help. We had tyre blow out on the chipper a while back on A27. It was very rainy and very dark! Jacked it up, went to take the wheel off and the nuts were seized. Soaked the whole lot in 2 stroke mix, waited, waited, waited and they were still seized. Eventually we got them to turn and 2 out of the 4 studs sheared off. Ended up pootling along at 30mph with 2 nuts holding the wheel on :001_rolleyes:

Just dump the waste your carrying in a pile on the verge and get your head down for the night, in the morning clear a few loads of tyres, gas bottles and asbestos sheets from a local industrial estate in lieu of payment for welding you suspension arm up:thumbup1:, dump the tyres, gas bottles and asbestos in the pile of arb waste on the verge and carry on your way.

I see it all the time round here

Sorry to hear of your problem - easy answer is to find a mate with a bigger trailer to drag it onto, or drag it into the nearest farm yard, or pick it up with a tractor with forks, big fat tip may help:sneaky2:

. failing that, strip off all the good stuff, cover it in crap and it should be there the nexr day.:thumbup1:
