Multione hedgetrimmer for mr Lofthouse

Here Dean enthuse over this. The nursery I work at acquired a multione hedgetrimmer this week. At current rate should trim all shelterbelt leylandii in around a day, instead of usual time of best part of a month.

 

If anyone knows how to put video in please do, Its my first attempt:blushing::confused1:

We tried one of those multitoothbar cutters on a compact tractor. The finish was not good, the clearing cuttings off the top of the hedge a pain, it was difficult to use and be accurate, every bump making a big difference. All in all slower then doing it by hand.

 

We had 10Km of council hedges to cut, I gave up after 5 mins, an experienced tractor driver tried but by the 3rd day giving it a go we decided to return it..
