changing finger teeth to green teeth

im looking at changing a rayco hg20 from finger teeth to series 700 green teeth, are the positions of the bolt holes the same on fingerteeth pockets and greenteeth pockets? the reason i ask is that when i changed from finger teeth to green teeth on my carlton 4012 the positions where the same

I would not worry to much if you can just do the change these 700's will well out perform those finger teeth even if they are all set the same, i have the 500's all set the same on a smaller machine and it eats stumps, I also have a p28 and i wish i could put the 700's on that with out changing the wheel.

John not sure about the Rayco but all finger teeth & greenteeth are interchangable on Bandit equipment, we can supply measurements of the pockets etc if required + all in stock.

 

Hi Global, have you ever changed a p28 wheel/set up to the GT700's or would it be the 900's ? I far prefer those cutters.

No never, Greenteeth are usually graded on horsepower, we only use 700 series upto approx 35hp above that they are 900 series. 1100 series approx 80hp and above. it is easy to check out the configuration of any machine listed with GT, I will check & come back to you shortly.

Thanks for that, i did think it would be the 700's, i had thought about getting a second hand wheel off a different grinder with the same center spline and re drilling where necessary. 28hp grinder .
