Small chipper for small buisness?

rite here goes 2 chipper u both want first 1 is jo-beau i would buy it if i ent got one brillent machine 2nd one i would buy if i ent got a jo-beau m400

I started with an 18/100G, and it's a great little machine.

 

BUT....

 

You will lose out on bigger jobs because prep time for timber is increased and you generate lots of 'light heavy' (thin cord), and the machine is not portable into back gardens through side gates etc. like some competitors.

 

Really depends what your market is.

Josh, what's your budget mate?? You've been after a chipper for ages pal and there are LOADS for sale on the Internet :thumbup1:

 

£3-4k ish,

jo beau looked ok, however didnt have all the correct controls,

im still looking, looked at some Shite,

waiting for something thats been looked after to pop up mate,

sorry seamed a bit hard but josh iv told u jo-beau is the best small chipper many moons ago go for it.

the 18/100 or entec truck loader is good as a small chipper for the back of a tranny tipper

 

If it was tidy mate , i would have snapped it up like that,

ive demoed cs100's etc, going to look at GTM now, seem to be same machine but £1200.00 cheaper!!

the 14hp is £3550 plus vat

the 18hp is £4300 plus vat

the ex demo 18hp is £39950 plus vat

 

the GTm is £3000, all in.:confused1:

 

There's a good reason for that :laugh1:

 

 

Did you say you've been doing tree work about 6 years? What machines have to worked with in the past?
