SRT anchors

Drew, in pic 5 you have an alpine butterfly with an anchor ring above it with the working end through the ring. The RW and hitch on this leg. If you pull on the alpine leg the system will be retrieved. How can you leave the hitch on and what stops the ring crashing to earth? Have I missed something?

 

From the pics, there looks to be a small length of throw line cord attached to the ring and krab to catch it on retrieval. :thumbup1:

Hey Paul, just pull the alpine down to you, undo it and your good to go. The ring just floats above your dbrt system. Rossi from Pro Climb The Tree Care, Climbing and Training Specialists showed me this, it works brilliantly.

 

When you say the ring floats above, do you mean it floats above the Lockjack or HC etc?

Sorry to revive an old thread but i've come up with a stitched SRT anchor cinch that i wouldn't mind some feedback on i'll just chuck up the pics let me know what you guys think

Think of the res tape as clear heat shrink, and how it is around my arm is how it sits on the tree, anyone who has used the double fig8 or double bowline to tie off will know how it works
