Hi all, I'm looking for someone to give me a quote for biomass chipping in Cumbria, a couple of hundred ton at a time? Anyone know how much I should be paying??

I haven't a clue about it and just need a rough idea. Feel free to pm me a price (preferably by the metre) if you don't want to write it here.

Thanks in advance!

All completely irrelevant as it depends on the chipper used and the final grade of chip required.

Contact some of the suggestions above and get a feel for what you actually require. Theres a big difference between waste reduction and biomass production.

With the right chipper you should get your chipping done in 2 days by a 18" + chipper if it's all in one place and being blown into one pile. Keep the chipper standing or keep it moving and it will take longer.

I don't know of any contractors in Ireland sadly. You could try contacting: M Large.
