Been to look at a job today there is a large dead standing common elm about 4ft though the butt and 10ft ish to the first branches then about a further 12ft ish to the next looks sound but won,t know till we knock it down seams a shame to cut it up for firewood any idea what its worth and anyone interested

If you could get it roadside, I'd be looking at £4-6 a hoppus foot, depending on quality and how long it had been standing dead.
