Anyone use Twitter?

The guy who built my website set me up with an account - I'd never viewed it before and didn't really know what it was for, and I'm not entirely sure I do now.

Anyway, it's work related and and not for posting mindless twaddle about the price of biscuits or which footballer has a nice new weave. If anyone is interested in 'following' me it can be found at https://twitter.com/#!/Portcullistrees or by searching for @Portcullistrees.

I'm not promising anything amazing but I'm interested to see how it all works.

I've never really "got" twitter - although it's on my site....

But other people seem to like it...

Ditto, but if it's good for business, or even good for the industry, I'll give it a go.

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
