Sesia Apiformis/hornet or clearwing moth

Just thought i would make a thread about this moth because it is one of my favorite bugs i have seen while doing tree work on site.I dont know loads about the moth but it is said to cause harm by laying its eggs in the base of poplar trees the grubs feed on the cambium and exit leaving cigar sized holes at the base of the tree.I can only go on experience and would say on the site i was working on that a lot of trees had fallen over .Anyway i like the look of it and here it is:001_cool:
