Log Bagging Device

When faced with the problem of filling net bags with logs, decided against buying a log bagging device from Fuelwood at over £200

 

Instead, made a few of these out of an old sheet of aluminium. Simply pull on the bag, stand on the ground, fill with logs, draw out device and tie-off bag.

Don't laugh!! Bought these on E-bay as a trial. Don't know if they are any good, but we have filled 100 and they seem to hold together...............

Been using a cut up old Addis bin myself, not as sturdy as yours mind!

Made this short vid a while back and had over 1,600 watch it on youtube wood from a fallen apple tree in a small garden in surrey hence the med chipper in use.
