3 mile run yesterday, long climb today & its Friday..!

Erm ran 3 miles today and cycled 9 km. all gym based.

Cool endomndo is good! Did you buy the pro version (£2.99) or get the free one? I had the free on for a while and its fine but it sucks your battery more. The pro has a few extra features but not much different.

Well, today I swam 400m, bikes 20km and ran 5km in 1hr and 8mins!!

Just the free one. It's pretty informative. I've seen people upload the details on the Facebook I pressed that button but it doesn't seem to have a appeared! Not that anyone is interested......

Yes, mine uploads to facebook automatically, you shouldnt need to press anything, look at the settings.

 

The only main difference with the pro one is you can look for routes near you that others have done, plus you cna manually enter other things that you might have done.

 

ANother app is called strava and its good for biking as it will compare with others that have done the same route. If you join strave on line you can then export the data file from endomondo to strava. Using strava as you ride is not as good as endomondo IMO, it suck battery even more and is not user freindly but the analysis after is better.

All that in an hour and 8? I managed 13 mile in an hour and one. Was the ride flat? I'm a little embarrassed!

Yes the ride was pretty much flat, some slight undulation but nothing you would call a hill. 20Km is 12.5miles and my split time for that was 38minutes, plus 8min for the swim, 20minutes for the run (im sure the run was less than 5km!) and 1minute for each of the transitions (from swim to bike and bike to run) makes 68 minutes.

 

But I came 148th !! So room for improvement. Fastest was about 55minutes or there abouts, not sure yet. Over 500 competitiors in total.

Makes me feel a little better. There's nothing BUT hills round here! I was hitting them pretty hard too. Until my lungs were screaming!
