Doesn't look like there are many Arbtalkers in to World Superbike - anyone going to the Peterborough BMF rally next weekend? Possibly going up on Saturday for a poke around!

Been a while since I was up at Donnington, think Ron Haslam led the first lap of the GP on an Elf Honda last time I saw bike racing there!

Rons youngest daughter stayed at my house Saturday night for my daughters sleep over and because I havent got Sky we dashed back to Rons to watch the two races there. Leon deserved to win both races but was well and truly robbed in the second

Guess your right there ..just been reading Motorcycle News and this race is being described as one of the best ever to take place there.... it makes MotoGP look thoroughly pedestrian, even Rossi says so.

feel gutted for Leon but he is very professional, personally I think Melandri went for a move that was not possible. GP needs to up it's game compared to WSB & BSB, roll on Snetterton this week.:001_smile:

But on top of that you never ever want to be anywhere near Jonny Rea cos he has a habit of running into people. Leon was the innocent casualty of the bad riding of two other people. Whilst watching the race I was continually saying that he needed to get well away from Rea. I think Rea should have been disqualified and Melandri given a thorough bo**i*king by BMW. But the reason I started the thread was because it was an awesome race.

I am, I've just been away for a couple of weeks. I've struggled to get time/the right channel to watch it for the last couple of years, but love the action.

Went to BSB at Brands last month.
