Hi Jon. I had problems with a 36" bar and a 20" bar. Got some stuff to ring up tomorrow so going to give it a good test straight out of the box!

 

HI JONNY did you have the problems on the 3ft on the 20 it ok yes and how big was the butt when you had a 3ft bar on thanks jon :thumbup:

HI JONNY if your on very LARGE butts mate i find that when the 660 on a 3ft gets problems your better off with a 880 ON A 4FT BAR JON :thumbup:

Tbh it doesn't matter what size I've been cutting,it's just always overheated. Hopefully this one wont do the same... Not holding my breath though!

 

HI JONNY overheat the 3ft bar yes it will not over heat with a 20 no way mine will not but i no ours over heat with a 3ft on thanks jon :thumbup:

I had the same fault, sent it back, lots of arguing and it eventually came back with the camming part of the brake handle greased! They said it was lack of maintanence! Saw had only done 20 hours Max!!! Anyway the brake now works so its safe to use.

So if anyone else's brake won't click on when warm strip it down, clean and grease it and see if it works on yours too......
