Which Island?

I'm going to look for a holiday for the new year. I'm after nice warm weather, interesting geography and scenary and not too expensive.

 

Was thinking of one of the canary Islands and maybe self catering away from the main british resorts.

 

Any ideas or recommendations?

Which ever one you chose be sure to get a car or quad and get up into the mountains. Have a good time and think of us back home watching Mary Poppins !

I agree about a quad in the canaries but have you thought about cyprus?

Beautifull country and again if you hire a qaud endless days of site seeing and fun.

Had a great cheap winter holiday in Morocco a couple of years ago, stunning scenery and great off road driving, If you like that sort of thing, pleasantly warm to.

2 Febuarys ago mate a week cost me £175 self catering and the quad was like £40 for the week me and 2 mates went and all together we spent £1300 all in.
