subbing today and there boss got called out but not emergency just broken chestnut limb safe on the deck, had nothing my self but looking at the pictures looks like wales got battered.........

Just got in,absolutely soaked. Anyone on here been working on the Washfield road near Tiverton? Looks like a right mess from what I could see!

 

Highways cleared most of it, had 4 guys down that way on traffic management duties today, another gang in okehampton, and four of us in and around Torrington clearing up. I'm ment to be having this week off, but working tomorrow as well now the mrs isn't happy as we have our wedding on Saturday! But you have to make hay whilst the sun shines and all that.

Was called out to this oak on sunday, only to cut it back from the house, no damage at all except the the beech hedge under it. Will clear it tomorrow.

 

Roads closed on my way there though due to trees!

Just some tiddlers today, have started inspecting our woodlands and it looks like the next three months will be busy, loads of mature oaks ash and beech down, will take some pictures when it stops raining!

been a wet and windy here today though mixed bag of jobs really but nout to exciting ....
