monday brought this small horse chesnut to have some little work to it.

 

this is only a sneak peak as the photos taken on the work camera are going into a magazine but here were 2 from my phone.

 

we got it down to 10 feet left today by 2 o clock.

well today was an epic deadwooding day ok large trees today,

I also had my first experience of climbing a mature welly.

 

couple from a cedar on site that lost its top about 10 years ago had now gained a new top from lower growth.

 

and a weeping lime, the other cedar that i got no photos of the butress is well impressive its a monster un fortunatly it is loosing loads of branches in its old age but it still battles on.

yes a lovely tree shame about the quality of work that has been done in the park i was going to get up that big welly in the wooded bit but it was a tad windy in a tight spot to get a good throwline. i may let you know next time I head out.

well the weather has been great recently nice and hot for taking town this dead oak. all done and dusted in one day

yesterdays multi stemmed sycamore, taken down due to local authority worries or weak unions.

 

fairly large tree lots of logs 1 and half lorry loads of logs

mog load of chip

 

the big yew in the middle was retained and all rigged over to help with the clearing up.
