Yeah that's rubbish. How are the other ends of the larks foot connected to each other? Why not just do it properly by a splicing, b continuos loop c direct tie to pinto eyes d steel crab or maillon????

That should not be used like that mate you risk queezing the two side cheeks together, causing it to fail and more than likely injure someone.....

 

Always use the spacer when fitting direct to textiles

 

it was not for that reason, i know a spacer is needed, why do people jump down peoples throats?

 

if read the other post, it was only to see if it will fit.

 

as for the other comment, alloy to dyneema is a soft fix, so no damage to bits and pieces.

Yes he ask if it would fit through the spacer........not the pinto eyes.

 

I was not jumping down your throat but if some newbie had seen that and no one had pointed out that you should not connect rope,slings whatever it is your connecting to the pinto like the way in your photo, then what do you think they would be doing???
