Hadleigh,

I rather foolishly chainsawed the eye off my Poison Hivee last week that Rich had done a cracking job on (luckily only a foot from the splice).

Could you sort it if I bring it to Capel?

Rope is virtually brand new/nearly new/had a fat sweaty little Geordie hanging off it for 18 months.

Rich could do it again but we'll be busy getting hammered!

Seriously, I'd like to sit in if possible, I want to get splicing this year.

Someone (who shall remain nameless) did a similar thing to a brand new Imori so rather than sling it i salvaged the safe bit and use it as a rather nice side stop...

Big thanks to Hadders for sorting a beautiful splice in double quick time.

Neither of us could make Capel, but the good old Post Office came to the rescue.

Rope arrived back today and looked so good I almost wanted to take it out for a climb in the rain. Almost.
