Majestic I still have the old fly rope.

Its too stretchy for srt, disregard what the spec say, it is a stretchy rope.

I rope wrench with my tachyon instead.

My 2c

 

 

i don't remember my old fly being stretchy, we shall see,......besides its not the same rope as the fly.....its the dragonfly, totally different. more lighter different colour so the fibres in the rope will act differently, have you the old spec sheet to compare specs.....:001_smile:

It's deffinatley spliceable mate. The only problem with the new England fly splice is that it's quite a big and ugly splice. Im happy to a crack at it though mate :-).

 

Do you still want that ropeguide making mate? Just remembered about it! Haha

yes mate, ta i did not want to ring you over the weekend mate as thought you may of made plans, will pick it up next week if its ok with you buddy....

I'm old and crap now mate I don't have plans any more! Haha. I'll get it made this week then. I not be in at the weekend though. so I'll leave it somewhere safe on the back yard if that's cool with you,or I can post it to you? I'm easy either way.
