I've just been outside milling about when I noticed that the neighbours were having some work done. 3 blokes, no chainsaw protection, jeans, trainers and no helmets! A ladder was put up the walnut and one of them looked over the fence and asked me would it be okay if some branches came over. I asked him why was he cutting it and what was gonna do. He replied he was topping it. I said if you knew anything about the tree you wouldn't do that. We had a little discussion and it confirmed he was a fool. I know it's none of my business what people get done but would you not expect apparent professionals to act and look professional?

I had a similar thing next door to a job last week. Expensive Stien helmet but he never used the muffs or visor. Wrong trousers. Spikes on backwards! Free climbed. The list was endless.

If I say what I really think, Bullman will ban me for ever and call the cops!! HarHar!

Apologies to our American friends:). I just find it hard to take in that people can be so dumb about trees!

No Sweat:thumbup1:, I just see this so much over here everyday, I try not to get my gander up as much as I use to unless they are fixing to crush a house or car or both by taking down a tree, which I have seen:sneaky2:

these sort of people put such a negative look on the industry, hate it when people just think i can cut your tree for a few pound notes, which makes it hard for us professionals to win jobs, pricing to do it it safely and properly!!
