Very confused, any ideas?

Thanks for the offer Jamie, but ive have managed to get a brand new one!! last one from old stock from a sihl dealer. :biggrin:

I have got to get a new fuel pipe now and i am going to change the crank seals and it should be sorted.

 

Any avice on changing crank seals ? ive not done that before.

Problem with this is that it is marked as obsolete and there are no spares available for it.

I need a fuel tank and a filter cover for mine which is sitting on the bench waiting for the long winter evenings so I can fettle it.

I think I have a work round for the leaky fuel tank but the plastic is defeating me at teh moment.

Yes i know parts are hard to come by, but im not counting on getting it going because i need to use it, its just a little learning and tinkering really. and ive spent a bit of time on it already so cant let it beat me. :001_smile:

 

As for yours- there's plenty of stuff you could fix the tank with and im sure ive seen filter coves for sale on ebay - if not give it me for parts :laugh1:

Covers are available from the States and the postage is more than I paid for the hedgecutters. As yours is, I just want to play and I dont actually need it.

You know, because it is there sort of thing.:thumbup:
