Our vehicle and chipper were stolen today (27 March) from a site in Kent. It is a very distinct vehicle, it has a big orange buffalo on the bonnet. It was taken by gypsys, they were with the chipper and vehicle and didn't realise anything was amiss until the vehicle was moving.

All saws and equipment were in the vehicle too.

Such a sickening feeling!

Gutted for you mate. What's the company name? I am not sure I have seen you around by I will keep an eye out for the vehicle you described. What was the flavour of chipper?

Hi Rich, it is a Timberwolf 150 chipper. The company is Mackely, it was the second time we were working in that area.

If you're sure its Gypsies/Travellers you might get a phone call asking for a couple of grand for its return, if I were you I'd go to the closest traveller site to where you was working and speak to the head honcho and tell him you are prepared to give a reward for its return, its the only way [unless you're very lucky] I can see you getting your kit back i'm sorry to say, be quick or the chipper will be out the area and your truck cut up.

We are still making enquiries, police weren't very helpful unfortunately. The keys were in the chipper ignition, they knew what they were doing.
